"TMC trying to protect infiltrators for political gain", accuses PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress while speaking in the Rajya Sabha, accusing the party of trying to protect infiltrators for political interests. He said such actions were depriving the country’s youth of opportunities and threatening the rights and safety of ordinary citizens.

The Prime Minister alleged that infiltration was affecting livelihoods, land rights and social security, particularly in tribal areas. He warned that the consequences of this approach were being borne by young people, women and vulnerable communities, while those in power remained focused on retaining authority.

Drawing a comparison with developed nations, Modi said countries that are stable and prosperous take firm steps against infiltration. In contrast, he alleged that in India, pressure was being exerted on institutions, including courts, to shield infiltrators instead of addressing the problem decisively.

Modi also criticised the governance in West Bengal, claiming people were suffering due to misplaced priorities of the state leadership. He accused the ruling party of ignoring serious social and security concerns while continuing to engage in political confrontations.
